Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy's mission is to accelerate the research, development, demonstration, and deployment of technologies and solutions to equitably transition America to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions economy-wide by no later than 2050, and ensure the clean energy economy benefits all Americans, creating good paying jobs for the American people—especially workers and communities impacted by the energy transition and those historically underserved by the energy system and overburdened by pollution.
Advanced Manufacturing Office supports R&D projects, R&D consortia, and early-stage technical partnerships with national laboratories, companies (for-profit and not-for profit), state and local governments, and universities through competitive, merit reviewed funding opportunities designed to investigate new manufacturing technologies.
The USDOE Industrial Training and Assessment Centers (ITACs) can help small and medium sized US manufacturers save energy, improve productivity, and reduce waste by providing no-cost technical assessments conducted by university based teams of engineering students and faculty. After the site visit, the ITAC team provides a comprehensive report with specific details on all opportunities for improving competitiveness identified during the assessment, including applicable rebates and incentives.
The Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance (GBRIA) is a non-profit, 501 (c)(6) association. Members and partner organizations include over 100 industrial plant facilities and over 50 industrial contractors and suppliers located in the River Parishes between Krotz Springs and Plaquemines, LA. The members are manufacturers in the petrochemical, paper, bulk storage and other industries and the contractors and suppliers provide important labor, materials, and supplies to the industry.
Entergy Solutions offers programs for Entergy Louisiana customers to save energy and money by reducing the up-front cost of a variety of energy efficiency upgrades. The program partners with participating trade allies and retailers, who will help you find new ways to save around your home.
